Founded in 2000 to bring a category of software — Enterprise Relationship Management — that most vendors were still calling CRM. The bet was that relationship depth, not contact volume, was what enterprises actually needed to manage.
Acquired 38 clients in the first year and was recognised by IDC as a leading CRM technology provider across EMEA.
CrossRoads was acquired by Insyst in 2002. Kalpesh joined Insyst as Chief Operating Officer post-acquisition and led EMEA operations through a period of 85%+ year-on-year growth. Insyst itself was subsequently exited — the second of two operator exits.
